What
They Say
About Monterey |
"We
have attended the Monterey Clinic religiously for years, and
for our coaching staff it has represented the beginning of the wrestling
season. We highly value the chance to get away from home, begin to focus
on what we want to accomplish in the upcoming season, and feel
energized for the long road ahead. Inevitably, we always walk
away learning something new to add to our room. The moment you
cease to be students of the sport, the sport will pass you by."
-Adam Wight and Clint Birch Vacaville High School
|
"The Clinic of Champions is a great way for our coaching staff to start the season. We get to see great clinicians and learn up to date techniques or listen to motivational speakers who have walked the walk. We get to talk and live wrestling in a beautiful setting while sharing good times with our coaching friends in California. The clinic staff does a great job of always making you feel welcomed. I would highly recommend this outstanding event for all coaches".
-Thomas N. Thomsen,
Mission San Jose H.S. |
"I have been attending the Monterey Clinic of Champions for many years. It is on my priority list of things to do as I begin each new season. The reason I attend the clinic is very simple. The clinic staff makes me feel like a true professional. They make me feel like wrestling matters to the whole world. I take that knowledge and that enthusiastic feeling and pass it on to my wrestling program. This is by far the best interactive wrestling clinic in the nation. It is the best kept secret in Colorado. I will be back as long as I am coaching. This is my 30th season coming up! "

What
They Say
About Monterey |
"One
of the great things about the Monterey clinic is how it keeps
coches contemporary. We have had clinicians like Zeke Jones,
Rulon Gardner and Cael Sanderson giving techniques sessions just weeks after their
great accomplishments. This clinic does a great job of balancing
clinicians. that emphasize the different aspects of youth, high
school.collegiate and international wrestling. The clinic is
great for developing new technique or improving existing technique.
It provides a great learning atmosphere with the opportunity
to meet with other coaches both professionally and socially.
We like seeing the ways different high school coaches organize
and run their practices, drill time, and live wrestling time.
We've been coming to the Monterey Clinic since the early 80's.
It always gives us something fresh to bring back to our program."
- Mark Bowe & Vince Bicocca, Calaveras H.S. |
"I can't think of a better way to kick off each new wrestling season. The Monterey Clinic of Champions always delivers with top-notch instruction from some of the best coaches and wrestlers in the world."
-Glen White, Ripon High School |
"I've been attending the Monterey Clinic of Champions for nearly 15 years! It has always been a source of the latest techniques, great practice ideas, and a great way to get charged up for the upcoming season"
- Mike Lee, Bella Vista High School |
